Stjepan Kukuruzović

Stjepan Kukuruzovic (born 7 June 1989 Thun) is a Croatian footballer, whose family immigrated to Switzerland.

Career

The midfielder played in his early teens at FC Lerch field. There was the person in charge not long hidden talent of the foot links, which is why he was promoted there with individual training. On July 20, 2003 ( 13 years old ), he joined the Challenge League club FC Thun, where he played for the youth teams, most recently for FC Thun II ( U21). Since the 2008/ 09 season Kukuruzovic was in the squad of 1st team and was now one of the regular players.

On 8 December 2009 it was announced that the attacking midfielder had signed a long-term contract at FC Zurich. However, he remained on loan until the end of the season at FC Thun. Kukuruzovic confirmed his good performance in the preliminary round in the second half and scored a total of seven goals, including the decisive goal against direct rivals FC Lugano in the encounter in the penultimate round. Also thanks to the services of the Croatian ball artist of the Bernese Oberland club was this season Challenge League champions and rose to the Axpo Super League.

Beginning of June 2010 changed Stjepan Kukuruzovic as announced to FC Zurich.
