Stružná

Stružná until 1949 Kysibl ( German Gießhübel ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers southeast of Karlovy Vary and Karlovy Vary belongs to Okres.

Geography

Stružná is located in the west of Doupov Mountains on the edge of the training area Hradiště. North-east rises the Plešivec ( Plesselberg, 841 m ) south of the Rumisko ( 776 m).

Neighboring towns are Cinov in the north, Bražec and the commandant of the training area in the southeast Hradiště, Horni Tašovice and Dlouhá Lomnice in the south, Podlesí, Peklo and Nová Víska the southwest, Žalmanov in the west and Andělská Hora in the northwest.

The easternmost villages Dlouhá ( Long Green ) with his district Kostelní Hurka ( mountain ) was destroyed after the establishment of the military area. History

The first documented mention of Gießhübel place in the year 1378th The village belonged at this time to rule Castel Sant'Angelo.
