Superboy is the name of an American television series from the 1980er/90er years. It portrays the life of the fictional comic book superhero Superboy, the young Superman, during his time at the University.

Action

The series has been renovated several times during the four -year term. The first two seasons treat the life of Clark Kent at the University, his heroic exploits as Superboy and his relationship with his childhood sweetheart Lana Lang. From the second season comic opponents Superboy and Superman are increasingly being introduced such as Lex Luthor, Mr. Mxyzptlk or Metallo. From the 3rd season of the action location of the University switches to an authority for Extraterrestrial Affairs. The style of the series is doing a lot darker.

Deposition

The show had good ratings, so that one would love a 5th and 6th season would have produced. Ultimately, this however failed to legal problems regarding the film rights of Superman franchises.
