Superman and the Mole Men is the 1951 turned, first film with the figure of the superhero Superman. The Director of the Black -and-white film, Lee Sholem, the main role was played George Reeves. The one-hour film has been shown in German-speaking neither in the movies on TV, so there is no official translation of the title into German; translated literally is the title of " Superman and the Mole People ".
Action
The reporter Clark Kent and Lois Lane travel to the small town of Silsby. The occasion is the deepest oil well ever conducted. Through the hole, which reaches almost to the earth's core, the home of the Mole People has been damaged, a small, very hairy human species. Horrified by the appearance of the mole people whose eyes glow in the dark, is forming among the inhabitants of the city Silsby a group led by Luke Benson, whose goal is to kill the creature. Clark Kent tries in the form of Superman, to prevent this plan. He succeeds in support of Lois Lane to appease the mob by Benson saves lives.
