SV Austria Salzburg
The sports club Austria Salzburg, Austria Salzburg SV for short, is an Austrian football club based in the city of Salzburg. He plays in the Regionalliga West.
The club was founded following the introduction of Red Bull in the same Bundesliga club SV Austria Salzburg and its realignment as FC Red Bull Salzburg. History
The colors and dispute the initiative violet and white
In April 2005, the plans of the Red Bull GmbH have been known for a stake in Austria Salzburg, whose fans were available to the project, due to the poor financial situation of the association, a positive move. In Austria the renaming of a sports club is relatively normal, many teams in football or hockey bear the name of a sponsor, usually in order to rehabilitate their finances and increase their budget. In response to the traditional enemy redesign of the association on the part of the new owner founded the initiative Fans Violet White, whose first aim was the preservation of the violet- white club tradition. Formation of a new Austria
After the failure of negotiations with the new club officials, the majority of purple fans withdrew from the stadium. The goal was the creation of a new Austria Salzburg. The new club soon had about 800 members and a large following. In order to enter into playing as soon as possible, negotiations with the football section of the PSV / black and white Salzburg were performed, which eventually led to a syndicate for the spring of 2006.
