Ted Danson

Ted Danson ( born December 29, 1947 as Edward Bridge Danson III in San Diego, California) is an American actor.

Life

Danson was particularly known for his role as Sam Malone, host of Cheers pub in the eponymous series ( 1982-1993 ). For this role, he was honored with two Emmys and Golden Globes. In the cinema Danson occurs only sporadically. He played opposite Tom Selleck and Steve Guttenberg in a remake of the French film Three Men and a Baby. In other films he played only supporting roles. The exception is Made in America, in which he detailed the alleged sperm donor of Whoopi Goldberg's daughter.

However, Danson is still a major television star. He played in several mini- series like Gulliver's Travels or Talking To Heaven, the main roles. In the hit sitcom Becker he played from 1998 to 2004 the same figure, a rude doctor and misanthropes. 2009 Danson received for his guest appearance as Arthur Frobisher in the episode They Had to Tweeze That Out of My Kidney series Damages - the power of his 13th Emmy nomination. Also in the sitcom Curb, Larry! he had several guest appearances. In the twelfth season of CSI: Vegas, he took over the role of team supervisors from 21 September 2011.

Is married to Ted Danson since 1995 with the equally well-known actress Mary Steenburgen, with whom he co-starred in the sitcom Two in the ink. He had a guest appearance in an episode of Family Guy.
