Tejay van Garderen

Tejay van Garderen ( born August 12, 1988 in Tacoma, WA, United States ) is an American cyclist.

Tejay van Garderen has been exceptionally successful with ten national championship titles at youth level. From 2008 to 2010 he rode for the Rabobank Continental team. In his first season there, he was able to celebrate his first professional victory: He won a stage at the Flèche du Sud, but he went there for a National Selection of the United States. In 2010, he joined the Team Columbia- HTC, after its dissolution at the season end of 2011 he moved to the BMC Racing Team.
