The Heartwork EP is an EP of the British extreme metal band Carcass. It was published by Earache Records in early 1994. It was the first shot of the group in the 1990s without the recently stepped out second guitarist Michael Amott.

The EP was released in support of the upcoming tour for the 1993 album Heartwork early 1994. Besides the title song of the studio album of the same two new, previously unreleased tracks are included which had taken Carcass in September 1993 in the Parr Street Studios in Liverpool after the departure of guitarist Michael Amott second again as trio. Frank Albrecht from the music magazine Rock Hard praised the two previously unreleased tracks as " hell groovy midtempo Thrasher", which are even better than the pieces of the studio album, the EP for him at the time was a must buy.
The release in Europe and North America in early 1994. In Japan, a version was released in March 1994 Toy's Factory with three bonus tracks that come from the 1992 EP Tools of the Trade.
