The Shadow Throne is the second album by the Norwegian black metal band Satyricon.
Style & Content
Musically, the album leans on Bathory and is similar to the previous album, Dark Medieval Times, although the concept and the sound have improved remarkably and folk elements are used only sporadically. The drums play blast beats, the vocals are mixed low.
