Thomas Anders

Thomas Anders ( born March 1, 1963 in Mörz; actually Bernd Weidung ) is a German pop and pop singer, record producer, songwriter, TV host, Music publisher, actor, composer and writer. With over 120 million records sold it is one of the most commercially successful German singers.

Life

Thomas Anders grew up in Mörz, now a district of Munstermaifeld. Already in elementary school he showed a strong interest in music, later he got piano lessons. At a first engagement he came after he prevailed from over 100 candidates in the junior competition. In the " Mosel Tanzpalast " he stepped back then about 300 times to children's songs and pop songs. Modern Talking

Only when his music producer Dieter Bohlen in the fall of 1984 launched an English-language Euro Disco project and together with Anders called the duo Modern Talking in life, came up with the title You're My Heart, You're My Soul in January 1985 almost overnight success.

Reunion of Modern Talking

In 1998, Bohlen and Anders together again and it was the comeback of Modern Talking.
