Thomas Fothen

Thomas Fothen ( born April 6, 1983 in Neuss ) is a retired German racing cyclist.

In track cycling was Thomas Fothen 2002 German Champion in the Team Pursuit.

After he was initially active for the team Teag Köstritzer and Team Sparkasse in road cycling, he joined UCI ProTeam 206 for Gerolsteiner. 2007 to 2009 he took part in the Giro d' Italia, where he did not make it past two fourth stage places. After the dissolution of the Milram team for which he drove in 2009 and 2010, he finished his career in 2011 with Team NSP.

Thomas Fothen is the younger brother of former pros Mark Fothen.
