Roger Kluge

Roger Kluge ( born February 5, 1986 in ironworks town ) is a German racing cyclist.

Sports career

Roger Kluge won on the track several times medals at the German Junior Championships. From 2005 he drove in the U23 class, where he won the UIV Cup in Copenhagen 2006. He also won the bronze medal in the Madison at the European Championships in Denmark Ballerup. In 2007 he was at the Track Cycling World Cup in Manchester in Second Scratch, where he also won silver at the U23 European Championship. At the German track cycling championships he won the points race and was runner up in the Team Pursuit and Madison. On the road Kluge won a stage of the 2007 Tour of Brandenburg and was also the overall standings decide for themselves.

At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing Kluge won the silver medal behind the Spaniard Juan Llaneras in the points race. At the games four years later in London, he finished in fourth place Omnium.
