Thymiaterion

As thymiaterion ( ancient Greek: θυμιατήριον of θυμιάειν thymiaein, smoking; majority Thymiateria ) is called an antique censer.

The thymiaterion was used as Räuchergestell for the house, grave and idolatrous cult. Occasion for use were acts of worship, festive parades and symposia.
