Tim Pawsat

Tim Pawsat ( born December 10, 1963 in Long Beach, California ) is a former American professional tennis player.

Life

Pawsat studied at the University of Southern California and was elected to the best selection All-American four times. After he won in 1986 along with Rick Leach, the double championship of the NCAA, he was a professional tennis player. The following year he won in Stuttgart on the side of Rick Leach his first doubles title on the ATP World Tour. Both were also in the final of Queen 's Club Championships. Overall, he has won five ATP doubles titles during his career. Three more times he stood in a double finals.

His greatest successes in the men's singles 1988, he had two finals at Challenger tournaments. In Nagoya, he was defeated Andrew Castle, in Aptos against Brad Pearce. Its highest listing in the tennis world ranking he achieved this year with position 223 in singles, and in 1990 with position 21 in doubles.

Pawsat was never able to qualify for the individual competition of a Grand Slam tournament. In the doubles competition, he stood in the second round of the Australian Open and twice in the second round of the French Open.
