Timo Werner
Timo Werner (born 6 March 1996 in Stuttgart ) is a German footballer who is active for VfB Stuttgart.
Career
Clubs
Born in Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt Timo Werner joined as F -teenager TSV Steinhaldenfeld to VfB Stuttgart and played from then on in the youth throughout the Cannstatt. In the 2012/13 season Werner has already played for youth teams VfB in the U -19 league, although it was still eligible to play this season for the B- youth. He was at the end of the season with 24 goals scorer in the U-19 Bundesliga season south / southwest. The following season, he completed the preseason with the first team of Swabia.
On August 1, 2013 Werner was in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2013/14 against Botev Plovdiv in the starting lineup his competitive debut for the Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. At 17 years, four months and 25 days he became the youngest debutant competitive match in the history of the Bundesliga team VfB. Three days after his pro debut Werner graduated from the DFB Cup 2013/14 in the first round against the BFC Dynamo his first National Cup match for the first team of Swabia.
As the best German youth players of age group U -17 Werner received by the DFB, the Fritz Walter Gold Medal. He made his debut on August 17, 2013, the second round of the Bundesliga Season 2013 /14, with VfB Stuttgart vs. Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. At 17 years and 164 days, Werner is the youngest Bundesliga debutant VfB Stuttgart; he solved so from Gerhard Poschner. On September 1, 2013, the fourth round of the same season, Werner stood against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the first time in the starting of a Bundesliga game. He drove it in two assists for a 6-2 home win in Stuttgart. On the 6th Round scoring at home against Eintracht Frankfurt his first goal, which made him the youngest scorer in the club's Bundesliga VfB Stuttgart. Furthermore, Werner is the youngest double scorer in Bundesliga history - against SC Freiburg, he scored on the 12th matchday gates to 0:2 and the 1:3 final score for VfB.
On March 6, 2014, his 18th birthday, by which he obtained his unlimited capacity, Timo Werner signed with VfB Stuttgart a dated until the end of June 2018 professional contract.
National
On 9 November 2010 Timo Werner made his debut for the German U-15 national team against Poland, scoring a hat-trick. In his debut for the U-16 national team of Germany on September 19, 2011 compared Scotland Werner scored one goal. He graduated on April 14, 2012 against Austria his first game for the U-17 National Team in Germany and subsequently for the U- 17 European Championship 2012 nominated even though he was still eligible to play for the U -17 Championship the following year. Timo Werner was with Germany in this tournament U-17 European Vice Champion and was in the final against the Netherlands over the full distance in use. He received in 2013 as the best German U-17 players the Fritz Walter Gold Medal. On May 30, 2013 Werner was two months after his 17th birthday, his debut for the German U-19 national team against Denmark and was there even before the gate successfully.

Family
Timo Werner's father is the former professional football player Günther Schuh, who played for Stuttgarter Kickers. He wears his mother's last name because his parents are not married.
