Tin Machine

Tin Machine was a rock band and consisted of David Bowie (vocals, guitar), Reeves Gabrels (guitar ) and the brothers Hunt Sales ( drums, vocals ) and Tony Sales (bass, vocals).

Band History

The band was founded in early 1989. Their debut album, Tin Machine reached in the UK position 3, the United States ranked 28th in Germany position 13 and in Austria Position 19 But with her second studio album Tin Machine II they had only moderate success ( 23 in the UK, place 126 in the U.S. and number 25 in Austria ). However, it abolished the single release You Belong in Rock N 'Roll in the UK still at number 33

Their live album Live - O Vey, Baby was a failure, and plans for a second live album, which was to be called Use Your Wallet were put aside. The name for the live album grew out of a pun on the hit album Achtung Baby U2. This idea came from Hunt Sales. When David Bowie from 1992 worked on his solo album, Black Tie, White Noise, heard the band to exist.
