Tiziana Alagia
Tiziana Alagia ( born March 8, 1973 in Lagonegro ) is an Italian marathon runner.
In 2000, she won the Cesano - Boscone Marathon and the Florence Marathon. The following year she won at Roma - Ostia and the Turin Marathon and came at the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton on the 21th Place.
In 2002 she won the Maratona del Salento and was as overall winner of the Maratona d' Italia Italian champion, in the following year she was third in Florence. 2004 was followed by victories at the Piacenza - Marathon, at the Maratona di Sant'Antonio and the Stramilano and a sixth place at the Berlin Marathon.
In 2005, she was second in the Rome Marathon, 2006 she won in Piacenza and was sixth at the Vienna City Marathon.
Tiziana Alagia is 1.71 meters tall and weighs 54 kg. She is coached by Luciano Gigliotti and starts for Co-Ver Sportiva Mapei.
