Tobel-Tägerschen
Commandery Tobel with Church of St. John
Tobel- Tägerschen is a municipality in the district of Münchwilen the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland. The coat of arms depicts the cross of St. John, and thus refers to the Coming of St Tobel or Order of Malta, which existed from 1228 to 1809.
Geography
Tobel- Tägerschen is located on the southern edge of the Lauchetals. The municipality consists of the villages Tobel, Tägerschen, Erikon, Karlishub and Thürn and numerous Kleinstsiedelungen and isolated farmsteads.
Population
Of the total of 1351 inhabitants (2007 ) 157 residents have foreign citizenship.
