Toni Tauler

Antonio Tauler Llull ( born April 11, 1974 in Palma de Mallorca) is a Spanish former road bicycle racer.

Sports career

Toni Tauler began his career in 1998 at Ros Mary- Amica Chips. In 1999 he moved to Kelme -Costa Blanca and won a stage of the Vuelta a Murcia. He then took four times in a row at the Tour de France in part and, after five years, Illes Balears. 2006 drove Tauler for the Spanish Professional Continental Team 3 Molinos Resort. In the same year he was Spanish time trial champion, after he had become in 2002 and 2003 vice-champion in this discipline. Then he concentrated on track cycling and won there podium at the Spanish Championships and UCI Track Cycling World Cup.

Twice - in 2000 and 2008 - started Tauler at the Olympic Games: 2000 in Sydney, he was twelfth in the team pursuit, together with Miguel Alzamora, Isaac Gálvez, and José Francisco Jarque; in the individual pursuit, he was ranked 16th Eight years later, in Beijing, he denied the individual pursuit and was sixth. In the two - team driving, he won jointly with Joan Llaneras the silver medal.
