Torger Nergård

Torger Nergård ( born December 12, 1974 in Trondheim ) is a Norwegian curler. He plays at the position of the third.

Nergård played as a substitute in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The Norwegian team defeated in the final, the favored Canadians with skip Kevin Martin and became Olympic champion.

The Curling Championship 2009 in Aberdeen Nergård won the bronze medal in the team of Skip Thomas Ulsrud. The Round Robin had been completed, the team first, but subsequently lost the Page playoff game against Sweden and the semi-final against Scotland.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 he won the silver medal in the Norwegian team led by Skip Thomas Ulsrud. In the semifinals they defeated it, the Swiss team to Markus Eggler Skip to 7:5. However, in the final game they lost the Canadian team with skip Kevin Martin with 3:6.
