2009 European Curling Championships

The Curling Championship 2009, the men and women took place from December 5 to 12 in Aberdeen in Scotland instead.

Defending champion in the men's was Scotland and among women in Switzerland.

For men, the team Sweden has won with the players (Skip Niklas Edin ), ( Third Sebastian Kraupp ) (second Fredrik Lindberg ) (Lead Viktor Kjäll ) and (Alternate Oskar Eriksson ) the European Championship. Second, the team of Switzerland and Norway was third team.

In the women's team Germany (second Monika Wagner ) (Lead Corinna Scholz ) and (Alternate Stella Hot ) has with the players (skip Andrea Schoepp ), ( Third Melanie Robillard ), after eleven years, regained the championship. Second, the team of Switzerland and third was the team of Denmark.
