Trauma (TV series)

Trauma is an American television series that was produced from 2009 to 2010 from Universal Media Studios.

Action

The viewer accompanies several teams of rescuers, among other things, ambulances and helicopters. In addition to the primary missions of the EMT - Paramedics, the series also shows the private life of the individual characters and the processing of the experiences from the everyday professional life.

Action starting point is the first anniversary of an accident in which a rescue helicopter and another helicopter after admitting a patient collide what no one survived up to the Paramedic of the rescue helicopter. On that anniversary of the Paramedic enters his service again.

Production

A month after the U.S. launch NBC announced that no more episodes will be produced over the already ordered 13 more. On 19 November 2009 NBC refuted his statement and ordered three more episodes. Due to the poor ratings of the Jay Leno Show NBC announced the production of four additional episodes.

Beginning of April 2010 NBC slashed the episode number on back 18. Reported on 14 May 2010, The Hollywood Reporter that NBC has the series issued.

Charisma and range

In the U.S., the first ten episodes aired from September 28 to November 30, 2010 on NBC. The pilot episode was seen by 6.7 million viewers and achieved a rating of 2.5 in the important 18 - to 49 -year-old target audience. The remaining eight episodes ran from 8 March to 26 April 2010 as the filler for the failed Jay Leno Show.

Internationally

In Sweden, the series began on 14 December 2009 on TV3, in Poland on 1 April 2010 on Canal in France on 25 April 2010 on TF1, in Italy on 15 May 2010 on Steel and Croatia on 27 June 2011 on RTL Televizija.
