Geography

Traun is at 273 m altitude in the central area. The expansion is 6.5 kilometers from north to south, from west to east 5.1 km. The total area is 15.4 km ². 11.7 % of the area is forested, 48.1% of the area is used for agriculture.

Community Colours: Red and white The Franz Krenn Designed from Traun coat of arms was awarded to the community on February 15, 1971.
