Trebišov District
The Okres Trebišov ( German Trebischau district ) is an administrative unit in eastern Slovakia with a population of 104 460 (2004, 2001, there were 103 779, of which 67200 ( 64.8 %), Slovak, 30,425 ( 29.3 %), Hungarian, 4,616 (4.4% ) Roma) and an area of 1,074 km ².
Historically, the district is almost entirely in the former county Semplin, a small part of south-east with the municipality Veľké Trakany belongs to the former Szabolcs (see also List of historic counties of Hungary ).
