Trevor Dunn

Trevor Roy Dunn ( born January 30, 1968 in Eureka ) is an American composer and bassist. As one of the " most versatile innovators in the Bay Area scene " in California it is for him " no contradiction ", " while enjoying heavy metal and free jazz. Life and work

Dunn started the bass playing at the age of 13 years. When his first influences he named the Beach Boys, Blondie, Cheap Trick, and Kiss but also Venom, The Swans and Slayer. 1986 at the age of 18 he founded with Mike Patton and Trey Spruance the music project Mr. Bungle, which in its early days are a mixture of thrash metal, hard rock and funk produced. Meanwhile, Dunn studied bass, double bass and music. He completed his studies in 1990 at the age of 22 years successfully. Two more years later appeared with their self-titled major debut of the band Mr. Bungle the first national and international publication at the same time at Warner Bros. Records. Band projects

Founded in 1986 Mr. Bungle broke up in 2000. In the meantime, they played a four demo tapes and three albums.
