Tullow

Tullow ( Irish: Tullow; German: " The Hill ") is a town in County Carlow in the south east of Ireland.

Tullow is about 20 km (air line) east of Carlow Town in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains on the River Slaney. The population Tullows was determined during Census 2002, 2,471 persons.

The town lies on the N81 from Dublin and Baltinglass Blessington over after Bunclody and on (on the N80 ) to Enniscorthy. With Gorey on the N11 on the Irish east coast Tullow is connected to regional roads. On the rail transport in Ireland, the place is no longer connected.
