Tyrone Mears (2007)

Tyrone Mears ( born February 18, 1983 in Stockport ) is an English footballer of Jamaican descent who currently plays as a defender for Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Playing career

Tyrone Mears began his career in 2001 at Manchester City, came there but only to a duty stake. From 2002 to 2006 he played for Preston North End, scoring four goals in 70 games. In July 2006 he moved to West Ham United, where he was but already borrowed from Derby County in January of the following year. After the end of the season 2006/ 07 he joined the club permanently in the East Midlands to, but was loaned in 2008 to the French giants Olympique Marseille. After the end of the lending agreement, he joined the Premier League team FC Burnley.

On 29 July 2011 Tyrone Mears moved together with his teammate Chris Eagles to Bolton Wanderers and there wrote a three-year contract.
