Ulanqab

Ulanqab is a prefecture-level city in the center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China. It extends from 39 ° 37 ' to 43 ° 28' north latitude, 109 ° 16 ' to 114 ° 49' east longitude. The city Ulanqab emerged from the federal government Ulanqab (乌兰察布 盟Wulanchabu Meng ) on 1 December 2003. The former county-level city of Jining was transformed into the city of Jining district.

The administrative area of the city Ulanqab has an area of ​​54,491 km ².
