Ulises Poirier Puelma (nicknamed Gringo ) ( born February 2, 1897 in quillota, † March 14, 1977 ) was a Chilean football player.

Association

Poirier played at club level for the Chilean club La Cruz Valparaiso.

National

The defender was a member of the national team of his native country, and took with her at the Campeonato Sudamericano 1919 ( 3 inserts) 1920 ( 3 inserts ), 1922 (4 inserts) and 1926 (4 inserts) as well as at the first World Cup in 1930 in part. There, however, he was only in the game against Chile Mexico used. Overall Poirier graduated from his debut on May 11, 1919 game against Brazil until his last mission on July 19, 1930 when meeting with France in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo 16 caps for Chile.
