United Democratic Front (Namibia)

The United Democratic Front (English United Democratic Front of Namibia (UDF) ) is a progressive political party in Namibia. The United Democratic Front is a merger of several smaller parties. The most important founding member was therefore the Damararat under Justus ǁ Garoëb [ Khi 1] and the party shall be deemed a Damarapartei.

In the last parliamentary elections in Namibia, on 27 and 28 November 2009, the party won 2.40% of votes and 2 of 78 seats in the National Assembly. Its voters came mainly from the regions of Erongo and Kunene.
