Unterentfelden (Swiss German: ʊndər ˌ æmpfæʊd ) is a municipality in the district of Aarau in the Swiss canton of Aargau. It is located in the lower Suhrental and borders the Canton of Solothurn.

Geography

The village is located northwest of the mouth of the Uerke in the Suhre, on the edge of a vast flat plane. Both waters were completely straightened, but were renaturisiert again. History

In the year 965 of the German Emperor Otto the Great gave the court Endiveld the Disentis Monastery. Originally from the Old High German place name means " end of the field ."
