Uonuma, Niigata
Uonuma (Japanese鱼 沼 市, - shi) is a city in the interior of the Niigata prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.

Uonuma located south of Niigata.
History
The city Uonuma was founded on 1 November 2004 from the former municipalities Koide, Horinouchi, Yunotani, Hirokami, Morikado and Irihirose.
