Urban Community of Bordeaux

The Communauté Urbaine de Bordeaux, short Cubs, is a commune in the French department of Gironde composite, which includes the city of Bordeaux and 26 suburbs.

The municipality composite was formed on 1 January 1968, is responsible for planning and coordination of all tasks that relate to more than one community. It has a parliament with 120 members, which meets eleven times a year at a meeting in Bordeaux. The parliamentarians are elected by the people in each community separately. The number of seats each municipality is determined by the population.

One of the main tasks of the Cubs is the coordination and supervision of the public transport company TBC.
