Värnamo Municipality

Värnamo is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Jönköping County, the historical province of Småland. The main town of the municipality is Värnamo.

Geography

Within the area there is a large number of lakes including the Bolmen and Vidöstern. It is known the Store Mosse National Park.

Attractions

Other attractions in the municipality include the former monastery Nydala and the museum railway Ohsabanan. On the western shore of the lake Vidöstern in Åminne is today used as a museum hut Åminne. Is the historic Doppebrunnen, the healing powers were attributed to the eastern border of the community.
