Vegard Haukø Sklett
Vegard Haukø Sklett ( born February 10, 1986 in Grong ) is a Norwegian ski jumper.
Career
Vegard Sklett belongs since 2007 to the Norwegian national team. After a FIS race on 29 July 2007 in Bischofshofen, where he won the second place, he started in the 2007/ 08 season in the Continental Cup. He scored his best result here on 11 March 2008 in the last season of jumping in Vikersund with a 3rd place. After two participations in the Ski Jumping Grand Prix in 2008 with only moderate success, it starts in the 2008 /09 season again in the Continental Cup. After he was able to win two competition in Sapporo and Bischofshofen end of the season, he was nominated for the A national team and played on 30 January 2009 its first World Cup competition in Sapporo, Japan. Right away he made it into the final round and finished jumping on 24th place on 8 February 2009, he managed the World Cup competition in Willingen reaching number 19 he could This placement while jumping in Klingenthal on February 11 still reach once. In the Norwegian Championships on the large hill on 8 February 2011 at Holmenkollen in Oslo he could erspringen an individual medal as runner for the first time, after he had already jumped several times with the team from Nord-Trøndelag since 2006 in the team competition at the podium. At the World Cup team event in Harrachov, Czech, he was able to celebrate with the Norwegian team its first World Cup victory on 10 December 2011. On 28 January 2012, he reached fourth place at the competition in Sapporo his best World Cup placing in a single jump.
