Vicki Brown

Vicki Brown ( born August 23, 1940 in Liverpool, England as Victoria Mary Haseman, † June 16, 1991 in Henley -on-Thames, England) was a British singer.

Life

Brown was the early 1960s, a founding member of the vocal trio The Breakaways. She retired after her marriage to Joe Brown in 1963 from the group, in the following year, her daughter Sam Brown born. From the early 1970s until the late 1980s, she was very active as a background singer. Although they also released albums under his own name, but this was fated hardly a commercial success. Brown worked for many years with Pink Floyd live on, among other things, in the 1972-1973 tour to The Dark Side of the Moon, as well as in the 1987-1989 A Momentary Lapse tour of Reason.

Brown died in 1991 at the age of 50 years, the consequences of cancer. From her marriage to Joe Brown had two children.
