Vineuil-Saint-Firmin

Vineuil -Saint -Firmin is a commune with 1418 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Oise in the Picardie region just north of the small town of Chantilly. Its inhabitants are called Vinoliens.

The church from the year 1540/1543 with its stained glass from the 16th century depicting the coat of arms Montmorency, is a listed building. The Château de Saint Firmin belongs to the Institut de France.

In Vineuil -Saint -Firmin, the director André Berthomieu died. The writer Antoine -François Prévost lived and worked a long time in the community.
