Vira Rebryk

Wira Wiktoriwna Rebryk (Ukrainian Віра Вікторівна Ребрик; born February 25, 1989 in Yalta ) is a Ukrainian javelin thrower.

After they had become 2005 Second in the World Junior Championships, she won the 2006 and the silver medal at the Junior World Championships, as they only defeated German Sandra Schaffarzik with 57.79 m. In 2007, she was with 58,48 m European Junior Champion; In 2008 she won in Bydgoszcz with a new junior world record of 63.01 meters at the Junior World Championships, the World Junior record has stock ( as of 2010).

A month after the junior title took Wira Rebryk part in the Olympic Games in 2008, but resigned in the qualifier. In 2009, she reached at the World Championships in Berlin the preliminaries and finished with 58.25 m in ninth place. In June 2010, she improved her best performance in Istanbul on 63.36 m. At the European Championships 2010 in Barcelona she left in qualifying. At the European Championships 2012 in Helsinki she won the gold medal with 66.86 meters. With this length they improved at the same time the Ukrainian national record.

Wira Rebryk is 1,75 m tall and weighs 65 kg competition.
