Linda Stahl

Linda Stahl (born 2 October 1985 in Steinheim ) is a German javelin thrower. Their biggest successes are the victory at the European Championships in Barcelona 2010, winning the U23 European Championships in Debrecen (Hungary ) in 2007, third place at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, the sixth place at the World Championships in Berlin in 2009 and the eighth place finish at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, the 4th place at the World Championships in 2013 in Moscow.

Sports career

Since 2003 it belongs to the TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen. There she trained in a training group with Steffi Nerius Helge Zöllkau. Previously, she was active in their local club LG lip -south.

At the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, she threw in the qualifier in the first attempt with 62,80 m best performance and was in the final with a width of 61.03 m in eighth place.

In the 2008 season she threw already on January 17, 2008 in Cologne 62.34 m and thus showed good early form in the Olympic season. Later she had back problems, making them the Olympic standard of 60.50 meters in the qualifying period to two centimeters missed ( herniated disc in the spring) despite constant performance. At the German Championships 2008, she was having a width of 60.18 m third parties.
