Vlastec

Vlastec ( German Wlastetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers north-east of Pisek and belongs to Okres Pisek.

Geography

Vlastec is on the left above the Vltava river flooded by Orlíkstausee in the Central Bohemian hills. The village lies in the valley of the brook Vlastecký creek, which opens east of Vlastec creek in the Křenecký. To the south is the pond Vlastecký fishpond. By Vlastec leads the state road II/138 between Zvíkovské podhradí and Záhoří. At the southeastern outskirts of the village the railway line Tábor Pisek passes by, the Vlastec train station is just outside the village, half way after Cerveny Újezdec. To the north rises the Otava (453 m), the South East Kašina hora ( 457 m ) southwest of the Svatonický vrch (517 m) and the Planina ( 494 m) and in the northwest the Skladište ( 492 m).

Neighboring towns are Tukleky, Pazderny and Oslov in the north, Cerveny Újezdec and Babák in the northeast, Struhy, Mlačina and Zálesí in the east, Na Babách, Temešvár, Kašina Hora and Jamny the southeast, Dolni Záhoří and Svatonice in the south, Vrcovice, Vojnikov and Kavkovna in southwest, Zalesna, Držov and U Marečků west and Spolí and Louka in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Vlastec took place in 1323 among the goods of the royal castle Klingenberg, when King Henry this pledged to Peter I. von Rosenberg. Some years later, the pledge of the king dissolved again. After in 1430 the Hussites besieged castle Klingenberg, pledged by King Sigismund the rule in 1431 to Ulrich von Rosenberg. Henry V of Rosenberg, who had taken over the indebted estate in 1472, sold on September 28, 1473 a quarter of the possessions of the house Rosenberg, among them, the Klingenberg Pawn, his cousin Bohuslav V. of Swan Mountain. Between 1554 and 1572 the Lords of swan mountain on Klingenberg could rebuild the old festivals Ougezd into a Renaissance chateau. In 1612 sold Georg Ehrenreich of Švamberk the rule Klingenberg to Johann Georg of Swan Mountain on Worlik that he kept good Ougezd for themselves. Last owner of the goods from the house swan hill was from 1640 Johann Wilhelm of Swan Mountain, in 1662 acquired Dietrich of Germersheim BZY on the farm, including the farm, the brewery and nine villages, including Vlastec, of Eleanor of Swan Mountain. Then the princes of Eggenberg bought on the estate Roth- Augezd and beat it to the Familienfideikommiss Worlik. After 1717 the Eggenberger extinguished in the male line, inherited in 1719 the Haus Schwarzenberg whose possessions. In 1837 Wlastetz consisted of 24 houses with 223 inhabitants. Parish and school location was top Zahořj ( Horni Záhoří ) .. Until the mid-19th century Wlastetz untertätnig remained as part of the goods Roth- Augezd the Fideikommissherrschaft Worlik including the Allodialgütern Zalužan, Zbenitz and Bukowan.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vlastce / Wlastetz was in 1850 part of the municipality Záhoří in the district administration and the judicial district of the Pisek. From 1880 Vlastce belonged to the community Horni Záhoří. In the 1880s Vlastce and Cerveny Újezdec broke loose from Horni Záhoří and formed a community that was named Vlastec. The construction of the railway Tabor - Milevsko - Pisek - Ražice 1886-1889 tore the area from her seclusion in the mill Sanik the railway bridge was built over the Vltava. In the bottom of the creek emerged Křenecký the end of the 19th century by two wilderness farms the settlement Struhy. Between 1956 and 1963 by the building of the Orlik dam, with the valleys of the Vltava and Otava were flooded. Vlastec was incorporated in 1964 with its two districts after Oslov. On 24 November 1990, Cerveny Újezdec, Struhy and Vlastec broke again from Olslov and formed the community Vlastec.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Vlastec Cerveny Újezdec (Roth Augezd ) Struhy and Vlastec ( Wlastetz ) and the monolayer Babák and U Marečků.

Attractions

  • Castle Cerveny Újezdec, the three -leaf -storey Renaissance building with a large courtyard was built 1554-1572 by conversion of the old festivals, the north wing was an open arcade, which is now walled up. After 1948, the castle was used as a depot for residential purposes. After privatization, the castle was set partly repaired.
