Volkswagen Gran Lavida
When Volkswagen Lavida Gran is a combination of vehicles which is produced by Shanghai Volkswagen since May 2013 the market of the People's Republic of China. The model replaced the VW Lavida sport.
The technical development took place on the basis of the Audi A3 Sportback in summer 2012. As early as November rolled the first test vehicles on the Chinese roads. So had the Škoda Sportback the front of the A3 with a Škoda typical grill and bumpers. The taillights, however, came from the Škoda Octavia Scout.
In April 2013, the fully developed Gran Lavida at the Shanghai Auto Show was first presented to the public. The VW model now had the front and rear bumper of the new VW Lavida. The taillights come this time from the A3 Cabriolet. Until the start of mass production had to the current Lavida largely adapted the exterior. Only the tail lights will be different from the notchback Lavida.
As engines to be available for selection according to initial information, a 1.4 -liter engine, a 1.8 -liter engine and a 2 - liter engine. The nationwide launch will be carried out towards the end of July.
