Všemyslice until 1923 Šemeslice ( German Schemeslitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers west of Tyn nad Vltavou in South Bohemia České Budějovice and belongs to the.

Geography

Všemyslice is located in the southeast of the Písecké hory ( Písecké Mountains ). To the east rises the Díly (431 m), in the southwest of the Kometa (593 m ) west of the Pecivál (604 m) and the Zdoba ( 574 m), and in the northwest of the Maly Kamýk (605 m), Vysoký Kamýk ( 627 m ) and Jedlový vrch (516 m). At the northern location is a solar power plant, four kilometers south is the Temelín nuclear power plant.

Neighboring towns are Slavětice, Spálené, Mezerka and Kolna in the north, U mysaka, Neznašov, Svatá Anna and Bojiste in the northeast, Bohunická Hájovna, Fišerák, Malá Strana and Cerveny Vrch in the east, Bohunice and Zverkovice the southeast, Křtěnov, Temelín and Přehájek in the south, Rozovy, Kaliště, Shon and Těšínov in the southwest, and Podlesí Nová Ves u Protivina in the west and Vsetec, Karlov I and II Karlov in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Usemyslicz took place in 1352 as a possession of Záviš of Újezdecs son Heřman. Subsequent owners of the estate were the Vladiken of Býšovec and Malovci Malovic. After the Battle of White Mountain in 1622, the estates of the Bohuslav Malovci Malovic were confiscated on Hluboká and Dříteň and in 1623 handed over to Baltasar of Marradas. He sold Všemyslice 1630 Sezyma of Wrtby, which it struck his estate Nezdaschow. In 1647 he left the farm Všemyslice in ten economies parceled and populated them with subjects from the reign Votice. After the abolition of patrimonial Šemeslice / Schemeslitz formed in 1850 with the districts Karlov I Neznašov, Slavětice and Vsetec a municipality in the district administration and the Tyn nad Vltavou the jurisdiction / Moldova Thein. Vsetec broke up in 1888 going on and formed its own community. 1910 lived in the community Všemyslice 850 inhabitants, of whom 849 Czechs.
