West Devon
West Devon is a local government district with the status of a borough in the county of Devon in England. Administrative seat is the town of Tavistock; significant sights are Chagford, Okehampton and Princetown.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Municipal Borough Okehampton and the Rural Districts Okehampton and Tavistock.
