West New York is a town in Hudson County, New Jersey in the United States. In the 2010 census, a total population of 49,708 was registered. West New York is one of the most densely populated communities in the United States.

The geographic coordinates of the city are 40 ° 47'18 "North and 74 ° 0'47 " West.

Economy
The proposed Formula 1 race track New Jersey is located in the city of West New York and Weehawken. On the route of the Grand Prix of America will be held in 2013. It has a contract for 10 racing seasons. Through the annual race huge visitor numbers and revenue are expected.
