Westheide
West Heath is a community without eponymous main town in the district of Borde in Saxony -Anhalt. She is a member of the community association Elbe Heath.

Geography
The community was named after the western Colbitz - Letzlinger Heath. It consists of two separate parts by Haldensleben: one north and the district of Born, adjacent to Letzlingen, Postal, Haldensleben and Calvörde and a southern with Hillersleben and Neuenhofe, adjacent to Haldensleben, Colbitz and Low flange.

Coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on 22 April 2010 by the county.
Blazon: " Split and half divided front in red two silver spiers, each with a black window and tower crosses on the beknauften pointed roofs; rear top in blue with a silver Lamb of God with annular golden nimbus the golden crosier a silver flag with a red cross; Rear lower in silver growing a black Grooved red fountain with a black fountain hole and about a held the drooping from the division of black fountain rope black bucket. "
At its inaugural meeting on 14 January 2010, the Council decided that the community designed by the Magdeburg Kommunalheraldiker Jörg Mantzsch and the approval process guided coat of arms, consisting of elements of the coat of arms of the districts Born, Hillersleben and Neuenhofe. The symbolism was, however, towards the hamlet of Arms corrected within the meaning of the coat of arms art of heraldry: The steeples were bekreuzt to present them as clearly Christian buildings, churches and fountains are " growing " positioned and the well shaft is no breakthrough and was therefore tinged black.
Flag
The flag is white - blue ( 1:1) striped ( cross- shape: strips horizontally extending, longitudinal shape: strip running vertically ) and centrally occupied with the municipal coat of arms.
History
West Heath was born on 1 January 2010 in the course of municipal reform in Saxony -Anhalt through the merger of the previously independent municipalities Born, Hillersleben and Neuenhofe.
