The community association Elbe Heath is a town in the northeast of the county Borde in Saxony -Anhalt.
Member communities
The community association Elbe Heath consists of the following seven member communities:
- Angern with Bertingen, Mahlwinkel, Wenddorf and Zibberick
- Postal with Blätz, Cröchern, Dolle and Sandbeiendorf
- Colbitz with Ellersell and Lindhorst
- Loitsche - Heinrichsberg with Ramstedt
- Rogätz with height and Friedrich Heinrich Horst
- West Heath with Born, Hillersleben and Neuenhofe
- Zielitz with Schricke
Geography
The municipality is located between the Colbitz - Letzlinger Heath and the same, so that the name originated.
History
The municipality was established on 1 January 2010, it takes over the administrative tasks at the same time resolved the administrative community Elbe- heath, and some tasks that previously lay with the member communities.
Against the background of municipal reform, which provides that member communities a community association must have at least 1000 people and also may not be less than eight the number of member communities, there was the same day the following changes:
- The communities Heinrichsberg ( 381 inhabitants) and Loitsche ( 655 inhabitants) joined to the municipality Loitsche -Heinrich Berg ( 1036 inhabitants) together.
- The municipalities Born ( 230 inhabitants), Hillersleben (808 inhabitants) and Neuenhofe ( 771 inhabitants) joined to the municipality Westheide ( 1,809 inhabitants) together.
- The municipalities Postal ( 595 inhabitants), Cröchern (274 inhabitants), Dolle ( 557 inhabitants) and Sandbeiendorf (277 inhabitants) merged to form the new municipality Postal ( 1,703 inhabitants) together.
- The communities Angern ( 1,302 inhabitants), Bertingen (184 inhabitants), Mahlwinkel ( 576 inhabitants) and Wenddorf (110 inhabitants) merged to form the new town of Angern ( 2,172 inhabitants) together.
The population figures given are based on the date of December 31, 2008.
The formation of the community Lindhorst than 8 member congregation of a part of the community Colbitz out failed despite repeated unequivocal vote of the citizens in the district Lindhorst and all requirements are met first at a decision by the Colbitzer council and for now final in on a referendum on 7 June 2009 the entire community Colbitz to the no-votes in the district Colbitz.
Policy
Coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on 18 February 2010 by the county.
Blazon: "In gold, a blue gin, topped with a flying silver lark. "
The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg Kommunalheraldiker Jörg Mantzsch. As a template for coat of arms was the emblem of the previous administration Community Elbe- heath, which can only be detected color changes. The redesign was necessary only because of the reestablishment of the community association.
Flag
The flag is blue - white - blue ( 1:4:1 ) striped ( cross- shape: strips horizontally extending, longitudinal shape: strip running vertically ) and the center occupied by the municipality coat of arms.
Traffic
Through the community association field leads the federal highway 189 After the completion of the property off plan to motorway A14 there will be the connection points Colbitz and Postal. In addition, the U.S. line runs through the area.
