Flechtingen (Verbandsgemeinde)

The community association Flechtingen is a town in the district of Borde in Saxony -Anhalt. The administrative center of the municipality is in Flechtingen. In Calvörde and Erxleben have branch offices.

Geography

History

The municipality was founded in the course of municipal reform in Saxony- Anhalt, on 1 January 2010. Because the population limit for member communities of a community association in 1000 is ( slight variations ) and their number is limited to eight, there were on the day of establishment following changes:

  • The communities Alleringersleben ( 425) Eimersleben ( 474 ) Morsleben (329) and Ostingersleben (263 ) merged to form the community Ingersleben ( 1491 ).
  • The communities Altenhausen ( 354), Emden (305) and Ivenrode ( 469 ) merged to form the new municipality Altenhausen ( 1128 ).
  • The communities Bartensleben ( 336) Bregenstedt ( 539 ) Hakenstedt with Groppendorf (525) and Uhrsleben ( 479) were incorporated into the municipality Erxleben, whose population increased from 1,264 to 3,143
  • The communities Behnsdorf (650) Belsdorf (190) Böddensell (235 ) and Flechtingen ( 1777 ) merged to form the new municipality Flechtingen ( 2852 ) together.
  • The communities Berenbrock (278 ), Dorst (171) Grauingen ( 159) Klüden (284) Mannhausen ( 281) Velsdorf (199 ) Wegenstedt (394) and Zobbenitz (327 ) and the spots Calvörde ( 1746 ) joined the new community Calvörde ( 3839 ) together.
  • The community Wieglitz (188 ) was incorporated into the municipality Bülstringen whose population increased from 758 to 946.

The municipality was founded from parts of the administrative community Flechtingen and the administrative community Oebisfelde - Calvörde, which dissolved at this time. The remaining communities of the two administrative Communities founded the city Oebisfelde - Weferlingen. Essentially, the area consists of the 2005 resolution management communities Bever Spring, Flechtinger ridge and Calvörde ( and the community Beendorf ).

On 1 January 2014, the municipality Sueplingen left the municipality and became part of the town of Haldenleben.
