White Island, Isles of Scilly

White Iceland is an uninhabited island of the Isles of Scilly. It is the northernmost of Scilly and can be reached at low tide via a tombolo of St. Martins on foot. A Bronze Age stone grave is the highest point of the 0.15 -acre isle, which lies 21 m above sea level.

Flora and Fauna

The island has been named by its diverse flora and fauna to a Site of Special Scientific Interest. On the island Entisol characterized by a variety of native species.
