Wicko Morskie

Wicko Morskie [ ˌ v ʲ it͡skɔ mɔrsk ʲ ɛ ] ( German Vietzkerstrand ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Postomino ( Pustamin ) in the powiat Slawienski ( Schlawe ).

Geographical location

The farming and fishing village Wicko Morskie located 20 kilometers north of Sławno and 18 kilometers north- east of Darlowo ( Rügenwalde ) on a spit between the Jezioro Wicko ( Vietzker lake ) and the Baltic Sea. The place is created on a peninsula that juts into the lake, and directly opposite across the lake was the lake the name -giving village Wicko ( Vietzke ).

History
