History

Incorporations

On 1 May 1978, the municipalities Effelter, Hessel Bach, Lahm and Steinberg as well as parts of the disbanded community Neufang were incorporated.

In the dissolved municipality Steinberg previously Eibenberg on 1 January 1975, Gifting been incorporated on 1 January 1977 and Roßlach on 1 January 1978.
